How to Magically Connect with Anyone
Description:
Everyone wants to feel heard, understood and valued. Sure, we live in a divisive age- but the real problem is that we treat interactions as transactions. Yet when we feel truly seen by others we become deeply connected with ourselves, our families, and our community. In this session, we will learn what true human connection is, and how to make better and more meaningful connections in our personal and professional lives.
Attendees will…
Develop an understanding of what human connection really means in the context of an increasingly distracted, divisive, and digitized world;
Be able to define the communication skill ‘perspective-taking’ and how it differs from empathy;
Identify and demonstrate the 4 steps in the E.A.R.S. system for mastering the art of active listening;
Become inspired to carry the human connection revolution into their homes, communities, and workplaces.

Work together with your teammates to learn the trick and develop a script that invites the audience into a story, lowering their walls, and creating room for wonder and connection. Keynote │45-75 min
It’s hard to get our ideas to spread. The real problem is that we focus too much on how amazing our idea is, rather than how clear, understandable, and relevant it is. But in truth, the more you know about something, the harder it is to explain it to an outsider. In this session, you’re going to learn how TED speakers capture attention, earn trust, and build meaningful relationships, and how you can apply the same techniques to elevate your communication.

Workshop │ 90 min or half-day
Change is inevitable, and as leaders, our ability to communicate it effectively is crucial. Yet, during times of change, we often face two significant challenges: 1) Coordination — being aligned on mission doesn't necessarily mean we're aligned on message, and 2) Motivation — understanding alone doesn't guarantee acceptance. To inspire our teams, customers, or communities to embrace change enthusiastically, we must craft our communication to earn genuine buy-in. This workshop introduces a dual-focused framework that addresses both coordination and motivation, ensuring that all stakeholders are not only aligned but also actively supportive. Best of all, this framework is intuitive and simple to implement, unlike many conventional corporate communication strategies. Imagine a scenario where everyone involved in communicating a new program or initiative is perfectly aligned, effectively securing buy-in from all intended recipients.
